comic and the heroic age
The Golden Age of comics is a period that began in the late 30's and culminated in the mid-fifties. It was during this time that the comic delight of a huge popularity and created the concept now known as Superhero In 1929 the Great Depression, triggered by the stock market crash, people in the United States was mired in poverty, publishers of the time noticed the nesecesidad people for entertainment that would make them forget the harsh reality. And so was born a few journals with different stories, some horror, some humor and some fantasy. Among the companies that made a killing with these cartoons was National Allied Publications and had among its publications New Fun Comics and More Fun Comics, to March 1937, when he released his first regular season success, Detective Comics. By that time the company changed its name to National Comics but it was his series star that generates the nickname of DC and after many years became the name of companyAlthough the comic itself started years before full acceptance is that the Golden Age of comics began in 1930 with Action Comics # 1, which first appeared in Superman, the Man of Steel, the last son of Krypton and first superhero in the history of mankind. Originally the creators of Superman, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, conceived the character as a villain created by a mad scientist but toying with the idea created a tale of a Super Man from another planet for good. The idea was rejected at once, but convinced that he had created a totally new concept insisted until and comic format, her story was accepted.
